Dehbid Angurak Mines complex

t DAMC belongs to Khorambid Township Mehrgostar Meli Faragir Cooperative Company owned by all inhabitants of Khorambid Township. The mine is located 170 km away from Shiraz, to north Fars Province, on Shiraz-Isfahan road. This mine time can be at the present considered as one of the biggest cream marble mines of the highest quality in Iran. It provides high quality building rocks in such various forms as slate, mixed or irregularly shaped prices to be supplied to domestic and foreign markets. In 2010, Khorambid Township Mehrgostar Meli Faragir Cooperative Company obtaining a business permits from Fars Province Mines & Industries office started its activities in this mine. Khorambid Township Mehrgostar Meli Faragir Cooperative Company as the major partner to Dehbid Angurak Mines Complex operates supervision over and management of mining and selling marble rocks in its 5 active workhouse (comprising 3 contractor Co. including Safashahr Sepehr Cooperative Company, Safashahr Sangboran Cooperative Company, Choroomi's Co. and Shahidabad Vahdat Cooperative Company and Mehrgostar Cooperative Company). Having at its disposal the greatest plant of Dehbid Angurak Mines Complex, equipped with modern mining machinery (including 5 forklifts, 13 loaders, 50 wire cutters, 2o Russell mining machines, etc.) being operated by 200 people at its employment. Definite reserve of this mine amounts to 1,100,000 metric tons of marble rocks, of which 80,000 MT is annually mined. The company is perfectly able to mine and export rocks in bulk to all places around the world.
